I’m Ososonic, a modular artist based in Rotterdam. Ever since I was young, I’ve been fascinated by the way sound works and how it shapes the space around us. In 2020,

I discovered modular synthesizers, and from

that moment on, I was hooked.

Modular challenges my mind and now forms the core of my creative process. I’m drawn to the raw, unpolished textures of analog synthesis and the endless sonic possibilities it offers. Every patch is a journey an intuitive balance between randomness and control.

What excites me most is how modular pushes me beyond conventions. It allows me to question structure, break expectations, and explore new ways of listening and experiencing sound. For me, it’s not just music it’s exploration, disruption, and deep connection through sound.

More than just air vibrations

For me, sound is way more than just air vibrations picked up by your ears and decoded by your brain. Sound is a tangible material I work with to build new worlds, or to bring existing ones back to life.

I truly believe sound has the power to transform how we experience the world both emotionally and physically.

Sounds move energy, activating and renewing the very foundations of life itself.

New Acid

The sound works and music I create are what I call New Acid. It’s a blend of electronic analog sounds and field recordings, creating a tension between experimental soundscapes and unexpected structures of silence and pattern length. I compose intuitively, balancing between chance and familiar rhythms. The result ranges from energetic, danceable pieces to deep, immersive tones that pull you into the depths.
